What kind of bird is this?

Good Morning Readers!!

Everyday this little guy comes over to the tree in my front yard. He tweets his little heart out. He sounds so beautiful.

Then when he is done he flies over to the hummingbird feeder and drinks the sugar water.

(As I am typing this, I can hear the little hummingbird dive bombing and whistling.)

Back to topic,

So the little bird drinks from the feeder, even though there is a little bird bath right next to the feeder! He is so silly. I love my daily visits from this little bird.

So according to my Birds of Nevada pamphlet, It appears that maybe my little bird is a Verdin. I am totally new to birding and If I am incorrect, please let me know. But in the meantime I will assume that this bird is a Verdin.

Whatever type of bird it is ,In my heart he is a gift from the Lord. And I am Thankful for that.

That is all I wanted to share with everyone. If you like my blog so far, go ahead and like my posts and Please give me a follow.

May God Bless you and your families. Take care out there, this country has gone crazy.

Much Love and Many Blessings..

My son, If you will receive my words and hide my Commandments within you, May you have an ear for wisdom, and your heart will know understanding. Always seek for knowledge, to lift up your voice for understanding. With that you will understand the fear of the Lord and You will have Knowledge of GOD.

The Lord gives Wisdom. Out of His mouth IS Knowledge and Understanding. Only those who are Righteous will the Lord give correct wisdom to. For the walk in Righteousness is to keep the path of Judgment and preserve the memory of old.

Only then will you understand righteousness, and judgment and be straight in the good path.

Proverbs 2:1-2:9

May these words I share with you bring you Joy today.

An Honor to meet you birdie.

Dear Reader,

Today I actually got to witness something super cool. Well to me it is cool.

If you have seen my previous posts you will see that I posted a video titled “1 minute with a hummingbird.” Well that little hummingbird featured in it, is my buddy who visits me everyday. I call it Sweetie.

Today in my kitchen I seen some movement by the feeder, as I went to check what was going on, I seen Sweetie was having a standoff with another hummer. I caught it on Film. Not the greatest Steven Spielberg film, but an Ecclesiasticus Production.

Not my best work, But That’s what I saw.

Now, back to the story. Okay so I am like oh my goodness, I saw that, let me go outside and sit on the chair under the feeder. So I sat there near the feeder and watched these two Hummingbirds chase each other. Back and forth, side to side. It sounded like little jets flying around my yard.

“Purp”, the new guy, is a Lucifer Hummingbird. It actually introduced it self to me as I was sitting near the feeder. It just hovered right up to me in front of my face for a few seconds. We locked eyes. It was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. I got to see the bird up close. The colors are so vividly beautiful. Full of purple, with a white and grey chest. the back where its wings are is green. It has a white stripe where its eyes are. A beautiful bird indeed.

But Sweetie is still my favorite. No doubt. Sweetie is the whole reason why I got into birding.

Once the two birds were done chasing each other they flew into the tree, chose a branch and they both just sat there together on that branch. Like old friends sharing conversation. I wish I could have taken a picture, but my phone camera is not great quality. I plan on purchasing a camera soon. Pray for me.

Anyways, I just thought I would share my experience with my readers. And I leave you all in prayer.

My Father in Heaven, I want to thank you for your wonderful creations and your beautiful works. I am blessed and honored to experience the birds who have a need for nothing. For your love feeds them and takes good care of them and they have no need for anything. Thank You Lord. I love you and I thank you. May you continue to bless me with your works so that I may share with my fellow brethren. In Jesus Name We Pray. Amen.
